Westfield High School Boys Golf Team Ranked sixteenth in Nation

The Westfield High School young men golf crew wrapped up its season positioned sixteenth in the United States by the National High School golf relationship for 2020-21, the school area declared Friday.

The Blue Devil golf players won the Tournament of Champions alongside state and sectional rivalries with group chief Colin Summers acquiring singular state and Tournament of Champions titles, school authorities said.

“This group encouraged a mentality to satisfy their objectives,” said Westfield High School Athletics Director Sandra Mamary. “All along, they communicated their longing, commitment and backbone to achieve the state title and TOC.

“Our commander set the vibe during the pre-season virtual gatherings, our mentors booked extremely cutthroat competitions all through the season, and the understudy competitors performed to their capacities.”

Recently Summers was named by USA Today as its top young men golfer.
