Volleyball Recognized with AVCA Team Academic Award

Following 50 eminent years, Lawrence heads out in different directions from MSC tennis crews

The Union College ladies’ volleyball crew was perceived by the American Volleyball Coaches Association with the USMC/AVCA Team Academic Award for the 2020-21 season, the affiliation declared last week.

The Dutchwomen are respected for the third consecutive season under lead trainer Laura Krok and the 6th time over the most recent eight years. To be perceived, university and secondary school volleyball crews should keep up with something like a 3.30 total group GPA on a 4.0 scale during the school year, making the standard one of the greatest among university training affiliations.

Association effectively cleared the 3.30 edge for every one of the three trimesters this season, completing the 2019-20 school year with a great combined group GPA of 3.488. Nine of the group’s 20 players completed the year with an aggregate GPA above 3.5, just as 15 understudy competitors with somewhere around a 3.0 GPA.

The youthful Union crew will start the 2021 season on September 3 at the Johnson and Wales Invitational.
