Town of Clarksville honors 2021 Providence baseball state championship team

The Pioneers won the 2021 IHSAA 2A State Championship Game in June, beating Eastside 4-0 in Indianapolis.

At Tuesday’s meeting, the Town Council presented the team with a copy of the “state championship” sign that will be placed at entrances to the town.

It also announced that, by proclamation, Aug. 17, 2021, was to be named “Providence High School Baseball 2021 State Champions day” in Clarksville.
