Parkes Tennis: Parkes East are Western PSSA champions; Parkes High CHS other participants

Western Bosses! Indeed truth be told. Parkes East have been delegated Western PSSA Tennis Champions after a hard battled last against Cudgegong Valley Government funded School played in Parkes last Wednesday.

Western reps Tom Rix and Henry Kross were all business and approached dealing with the initial young men singles matches 6/1 and 6/0 separately. Cudgegong however reacted well with their Western rep out playing Milli Mackay 6/0. Kasey Morgan had an extreme coordinate in her singles and was down 4/1 and afterward 5/1 yet retaliated to go down 6/3 which would demonstrate vital later in the day.

CHS Tennis

Parkes High Open young men side went down to Dubbo Senior School last week in the Western Titles.

Some encouragement was Joseph Tanswell being chosen in the Western group after preliminaries held in Orange a couple of days earlier. Joe has been hitting the ball well and getting a charge out of the test of the Monday night singles comp.

ANZ Superstars award

This Tuesday there will be an uncommon show made by Tennis NSW and ANZ for an award in which Parkes Social Club were effective in getting.

Any youngsters who might want to be in the photograph to go to Tennis Australia if it’s not too much trouble, show up at 3.30pm wearing your Superstars shirt with your racquet.

Junior rivalry

The lesser comp completes this evening. Introductions will be held toward the finish of every division’s matches on court.

Night rivalries

Monday women completed last night with results one week from now. The following comp will begin on Monday July 19. Women play 3 arrangements of pairs and trade accomplices every week. Names to Helen Magill.

A grade Singles and Copies Challenge likewise completed last evening and will begin again in July. Names to Andrew Slattery or Helen Magill.

This evening will be the last night for the Tuesday groups comp with a short show toward the fulfillment of matches.
