1. Orange Lutheran (27-3): The Lancers and Coach Brenda Villa claimed the biggest prize of the season, the CIF-SS Open Division title.

2. Foothill (27-5): The Knights showed their resolve by edging Orange Lutheran for the SoCal Division I regional crown.

3. Los Alamitos (23-9): The Sunset League champion reached the semifinals in the Open Division and SoCal Division I regional.

4. Laguna Beach (19-10): The Breakers were ranked higher earlier in the season but won plenty of games under first-year coach Claire Sonne.

5. Newport Harbor (20-8): The Sailors showed their fight playing most of the season without top offensive player, Avery Montiel, due to injury.

6. Mater Dei (16-12): The Monarchs were aided by the return of Coach Chris Segesman but who will lead their program going forward?

7. Corona del Mar (19-9): The Sea Queens’ comeback attempt against Foothill in the first round of the Open playoffs looks even better now.

8. Santa Margarita (18-11): The Eagles put it all together to rally past Long Beach Wilson for an epic win in the CIF-SS Division 1 final.

9. JSerra (29-4): The Lions showed their potential by winning CIF-SS Division 3 and the SoCal Division II regional titles. They’re motivated to climb higher next season.

10. San Clemente (17-11): The Tritons won the South Coast League in the return season of Coach Logan Powell. Look for the progress to continue.
