Nearby High school swimmers break meet records at NCWV swim Championships

Region secondary school swimmers had an incredible day in the pool at the North Central West Virginia swimming Championships on Saturday.

More than 400 swimmers among all ages contended, yet the names we are accustomed to hearing during secondary school swim meets were additionally included at the Shinnston pool.

Buckhannon-Upshur’s Cadence Vincent broke the meet record in the young ladies 50 meter free-form with a period of 26.84. She broke her own record that she set two summers back.

BU’s Preston Bennett likewise broke a meet record in the 200 free-form.

Bridgeport’s Randy Keener had another extraordinary meet, dominating different races including the young men 50 free-form.
