Mythical beasts Receive All-America Swimming Honors

The Carroll Swim and Dive program saw 13 of its competitors become All-Americans last week.

After the National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association distributed its 2020-2021 All-America Swimming records on Tuesday, July 15, the Carroll Swim and Dive group brought home 19 distinctions from the school year. In the young men’s class, swimmers Andrew Zettle, Mason Edmund, Max Hatcher and Jackson Pogue won eight All-America postings complete for the Dragons, incorporating putting fifteenth in the 400-yard free-form transfer. On the young ladies’ side, Hailey Heldenbrand, Bailey Kaiser, Kate Heintz, Corbyn Cormack, Morgan Chocholek, Ryley Heck and Alexis Drap won six postings generally, incorporating setting 29th in the 200-yard mixture hand-off.

The Southlake Carroll Water Polo crew likewise saw Jackie Walters win second group and Whitney Wood win a fair notice. The Carroll High School Swim and Dive groups both positioned fifth broadly in state funded schools also.
