Georgia Bulldogs freshman linebacker Xavian Sorey Jr. is another IMG Academy product to come to Athens. Sorey Jr. enrolled early at Georgia. He was ranked as a five-star recruit and the top outside linebacker prospect.
Georgia does not have as much depth at outside linebacker following the departures of Azeez Ojulari and Jermaine Johnson. Sorey Jr. will have an opportunity to step up behind Adam Anderson and Nolan Smith.
Sorey Jr. transferred to IMG Academy after playing linebacker, defensive back, and running back for Graceville High School.
The five-star linebacker is a part of Georgia’s incoming class of 2021, which featured four highly-ranked linebackers: Xavian Sorey Jr., Smael Mondon, Jamon Dumas-Johnson, and Chaz Chambliss.
