District 12 shines on the PFN Coaches 3A All-State Team

The Neumann-Goretti Saints led by HC Albie Crosby advanced to the state quarterfinals before falling short to Dallas. After a great 10-2 season they landed 4 players on the PFN Coaches All-State team. Senior Wideout Khari Reid nabbed 6 over all touchdowns with 5 coming on receptions. He also nabbed 2 interceptions on defense. Senior Safety Kahmir Prescott earned 1st team honors after racking up 15 tackles, 1 interception, 1 forced fumble, & 9 overall touchdowns (2 rushing, 6 receiving, 1 kick return). Senior CB C’Andre Hopper also earned 1st team honors after posting 32 tackles, 3 interceptions (1 pick six) & 2 fumble recoveries (1 TD). Senior DL Deshon Dodson earned 2nd team honors after posting 36 tackles, 4 fumble recoveries & 4 sacks.

Player of the Year was given to Belle Vernon Area HS star Quentin Martin (Penn State signee) while Coach of the Year honors was split with co-winners in Belle Vernon Area HS HC Matt Humbert & Northwestern Lehigh HC Josh Snyder.
