Dan Albano’s Fab 5 outstanding softball players last week, Feb. 27-March 4:

Auddrey Lira, Villa Park, So., P

Lira allowed one earned run, struck out nine and added a home run and five RBIs in a 10-5 win against Mission Viejo, the reigning CIF-SS Division 2 champion.

Malaya Majam-Finch, Fullerton, Fr., P

Majam-Finch fired a one-hitter with 11 strikeouts and no walks in a 2-0 victory against Warren, a Division 2 team that owns a win against JSerra. Majam-Finch is 5-0 with a 0.00 ERA and is batting .517 with two home runs.

Peyton May, Orange Lutheran, Fr., P

May fired a one-hitter with 15 strikeouts and one walk in an 8-0 victory against Citrus Valley,

Zoe Prystajko, Huntington Beach, Jr., P

The Stanford commit tossed a five-inning no-hitter with 10 strikeouts in a 13-0 victory against Fountain Valley.

Natalie Romero, Rosary, Sr., P

Romero fired a four-hitter with seven strikeouts in a 6-0 triumph against Nevada powerhouse Bishop Gorman.
