Words from his defensive coach Malcom West : Ryan Creegan is a player that offensive coordinators have a hard time game planning for, he’s a player that I will take to war with me any day of the week. He shows up everyday and consistently works the best to his ability and tries to make everyone better every time he steps foot on the field. He wears his heart on his sleeve with emotions sometimes but it is in his competitive nature, this is what drives him every day to be great. This young man speeds the game up to his capability every Friday night. Any coach would love to have a player like Ryan due to his great leadership, high football IQ and constant motor every down.

Why do you play football ?
I play football for the satisfaction of hitting people and having fun, this game is more than a sport it’s a commitment and a brotherhood that you will never forget
What was last years season like for you ?
Last years season was definitely a success because of the fact Sun Valley didn’t make playoffs for 5 years straight, that all changed when we came out and made a statement
What are some of your goals for the upcoming season ?
This upcoming season my goals are set on making 1st team All Chestmont and becoming an All Delco defensive player
One thing you’d love to do in a game that may never happen ?
Score a touchdown
What is your favorite play to run ?
Mike blitz
What is your favorite football memory ?
Winning the Turkey Bowl my junior year and having two forced fumbles
What kind of music or artist would you listen to before a game ?
Any kind of rap music but mainly Drake
Who is you favorite all time favorite athlete and why ?
LeBron James because he proved to everyone that he is one of the all time greats in his sport
Who is the best play you ever lined up against ?
Sun Valley alumni guard Travis Powell
What is the definition of a perfect teammate to you ?
Someone who cleans up after practice even when they’re not required to but does so anyways, also a player who is always there for others to pick them up when needed
What is your favorite food to eat before a game ?
Spaghetti with meat sauce
What are you looking forward to the most on game day ?
Go out and compete with my fellow brothers and have some fun
Name a sport you’d love to play but can’t ?
I’d love to play golf but unfortunately it’s the same season as football
When you are not practicing, playing, or training what are some of your go to activities ?
When I have free time some of my favorite things to do is golf and to simply hangout with friends and family
