Logan Hamilton isn’t afraid of contact. But it’s his ability to make the opponent miss on his way to the ball carrier that makes him stand out. Quick, strong and athletic, able to read an offense are his strengths. It should be a fun year to watch the incoming senior, unless you’re on the other team.
Coach Eric VanWyck: “Logan was a starting middle linebacker for us this past year. He has the physical toughness and football IQ to be a special player for us this next season. He is a quiet leader that always leads by example.

Why do you play football?
I play football for myself. I always want to win. I love the competitiveness every play brings, and the contact involved with it. There is nothing like competing alongside my teammates on Friday nights at the Moe.
Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?
My favorite sports star is Bryce Harper. I love the energy he brings to games, and his drive to win.
Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:
Getting an interception against Ridley, and taking it 78 yards to the end zone.
What was last years season like for you?
Last season was special to me because I was able to get more experience, and improve my knowledge on the game of football each week. Playing for Coach VanWyck is really a privilege, and I didn’t take a moment for granted.
What are your goals for this coming season?
My goals for this upcoming season are to win a District championship, and Central League title.
What stadium, HS/college/pro would you love to visit for a game?
What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?
What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?
My favorite game I’ve watched is the Eagles Super Bowl win against the Patriots in 2016. This was the first Super Bowl I saw the Eagles in, which made a lot of memories for me.
What sports movie would you watch every day if you had to pick one and why?
I would watch Rudy because his relentlessness gets me fired up, and motivates me every time I watch it.
If your mom and dad are screaming at you from the stands, what is it they usually yell?
Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?
Throw a touchdown pass.
Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?
Jalen Hurts is my mentor. His work ethic takes him really far. He will put everything on the line to win, and is a great leader.
Name a sport you’d love to play but can’t:
A sport I would love to play is lacrosse, but cant because of baseball.
Is there anyone in your family, besides your parents, you could consider your biggest fan? Who, Why?
My Grandfather. He goes to all my games, and always supports me through the ups and downs. No matter how I played he is always positive, and on my side.
When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?
My go to activity is watching a sports game. I love to watch people compete, no matter what sport it is. The different ways people sacrifice to win is fun to watch.
What is your favorite football memory to date?
Winning the Bert Bell championship.

What was your favorite gift as a little boy? Why?
A mini hoop. I loved playing one on one with my brother in mini hoop.
What restaurant is your go to when you need a big meal?
Which one? Sheetz or Wawa
